One of the new highlights for 2026 is a hands-on sheet metal shaping course organised in collaboration between TorAFors and TAKOMO Works. The course offers a unique opportunity to learn traditional metal forming techniques under professional guidance – right in the heart of the exhibition.
Practical Sheet Metal Course in an Exhibition Environment
This two-day course is designed for both enthusiasts and industry professionals. The focus is on learning by doing: participants will observe the instructors at work and apply the techniques themselves during the training days.
Course Content:
- Hammer and dolly technique
- Use of the English wheel and various shaping techniques
- Bead roller operation and its possibilities in sheet metal forming
- Shrinking and stretching sheet metal
TorAFors, a long-standing supplier of professional tools and workshop equipment, will provide top-quality machinery and equipment for the course. TAKOMO Works is responsible for the training and course content design.
The course is led by an experienced team of instructors headed by Tero Salmi, who has many years of experience in demanding sheet metal work as well as teaching in Finland and internationally.
